Multi-Factor Authentication (Email OTP)
Overview
Tensoract uses email-based One-Time Password (OTP) verification when you sign in from an untrusted or unrecognized device. This adds an extra layer of security to your account.
How MFA Works
- Automated Code Delivery: After entering valid credentials on an untrusted device, a 6-digit OTP is automatically generated and sent to your registered email address.
- Verification Screen: Enter the OTP on the verification screen and click Verify to complete authentication.
- Resend OTP: If you do not receive the OTP within 60 seconds, click Resend
OTP to trigger a fresh security code.

- Alternate MFA Email: If your account has Allow alternate MFA email enabled
by an administrator, click Send code to a different email to receive the OTP at your
configured alternate backup address.

- Remember this device: Select Remember this device before clicking
to verify if you want the system to trust your browser. You will not be asked for an OTP on future
logins from the trusted device for the configured retention period.

- Log In using Single Sign On: From the OTP verification screen, users can also click
Log In using Single Sign On to switch directly to corporate SSO authentication
instead of entering the emailed OTP.
