Step 3: Configure Labels and Relationships¶
Configuring labels for a project involves defining the categories or classes used to annotate the data. The Labels section is specific to each project and varies based on the project requirements.

Import and Export Descriptors¶
You can import and export the labels and relationship descriptors for the project, which can then be utilized for other projects.
Export Descriptor: You can export the labels and relationship settings as a json file. This exported json can then be imported in another project to apply the same configurations.
Import Descriptor: You can import an existing compatible descriptor json file to the current project to override existing configurations.
Global Task Instructions¶
The Global Task Instructions functionality allows admin to provide instructions or guidelines that apply to all tasks within the project. It benefits both annotators and reviewers by guiding their work, promoting consistency, and enhancing the overall quality of annotations.
Once Global Task Instructions is set within the project, it appears in the task as shown in the following diagram.

Enable task instructions popup: This option allows users to receive task instructions in a pop-up message upon opening the task, in addition to the instructions displayed in the right-hand side panel.
The popup appears in the task as shown below.
